My favourite Mercedes moment has got to be Lewis winning the WDC in 2008. That race had every emotion available to a true fan.
The fact that he had it for so long then lost it, then on the final corner of the last lap he regained 5th will stay with me forever. It’s a race that I could watch over and over again (and still get teary)

  2. Dominic Smith says:

Lewis Hamilton first win for mercedes in 2013 such a great race.

  3. MEDINA PATEL says:

The bahrain gran prix.. showed the power of the car. .. The passion and expertise of the drivers and the bravery of the Mercedes management to let them race .. exactly what the fans of the team and f1 wanted #allroundpackage #bestteam #teammercedes

  4. James says:

I think I’m probably not alone in saying one of my favourite Mercedes F1, in fact of all F1 races I’ve seen(!), is the Lewis vs Nico battle in Bahrain 2014. I raise my hat to Mercedes for letting them go racing, which they did in a thrilling but professional way.
Long may your dominance at the front of the grid continue!

  5. James says:

My second favourite would be Schumacher’s pole position in Monaco 2 years ago. Despite retiring (now twice!) he put in a stellar performance at one of the most glamorous circuits on the calendar. Not just down to his driving talents but the dedication of everyone at Mercedes. :-)

  6. David Mitchell says:

Michael Schumacher’s final podium Europe 2012

  7. Chris says:

My favourite Mercedes moment is when they won the drivers & constructors championship in 2014 with record points!

    It will happen

  8. Lamar Mirander says:

My favourite Mercedes moment just has to be the share dominance we have had over red bull and Ferrari .. These 2 Mercedes cars are making Vettel and Alonso two future hall of fame’s look like amateurs .. It has been excellent to see two cars compete and not just one .. Mercedes have brought f1 back to life!!

  9. Lamar Mirander says:

My second favourite moment is when Mercedes made the announcement that Lewis Hamilton will be teaming up with Nico Rosberg .. Two very competitive and fantastic drivers that have taken the team in the right direction..

  10. Jodie Tranter says:

My favourite Mercedes f1 moment of all time has to be watching Lewis finish nearly a lap ahead of the rest in the rain at Silverstone in 2008 with Mclaren Mercedes! I was at the gates waiting for them to open at 4am. Was worth being soaked through just to see a Lewis win live!! Even nicer when the sun came out after the race to dry us all out a bit
    :-)

  11. Chanel says:

Favourite Mercedes moments are definitely the Lewis v Nico battles, especially the one in Bahrain this year, it was exciting to see them racing against each other, you get a thrill from watching them both race so close together, as a Lewis Hamilton fan it’s always great to see him win the battles but its an edge of the seat moment watching team mates battle it out for position, those are always my favourite moments, I sure hope there’s more to come this season!

  12. Mine was Bahrain and China that they were putting a show on for us crazy fans and then Monaco was just amazing

  13. Paul says:

My favourite Mercedes moment has to be David Coulthard winning the 1997 Australian Grand Prix.

My household growing up was full of stories about the magnificent Mercedes cars of the 1950’s with Fangio and Moss. Then in 1997 (my first full season of watching F1) right before my eyes, the Silver Arrows were right there once again with a fantastic win in the first race of the season. The first for 42 years!

It truly was a special moment for me and an emotional one for my father I seem to remember!

  14. Sean Meehan says:

My favourite moment for the team was back at the Valencia 2012 GP, where Schumacher started 12th and patiently weaved his way up the field throughout the race. At the chequered flag (if I remember correctly), he didn’t actually know where he finished and thought he was 4th/5th, whereas he actually finished 3rd and was his first podium since returning to the sport!

  15. Fav moment so far has got to be the battle in Bahrain, hats off to the Mercedes team for letting the guys race, team mates and friendships are being put to one side in the battle to be number 1.

  16. mark strain says:

Kevin Magnussen finishing secord in 2014 Australian Grand Prix….his first f1 race…sure to be a big star off the future

  17. ronald says:

I think mercades will win the f1

  18. Lisa Bateman says:

2008 when Lewis Hamilton takes the world title winning five out of 18 Grands Prix. He wins the title in a dramatic final race in Brazil when he clinched fifth place in the final corner which was enough to secure the championship win ahead of Ferrari’s Felipe Massa.

  19. Lucy Anderson says:

The moment …. When An amazing and thrilling race for Mercedes F1 took place ,the Lewis vs Nico battle in Bahrain 2014. I have never seen anything like that in years in all of f1 ! I think this was great it brought out everything in both lewis and nico! The fight between them and both showed off there amazing skills, whole team was amazing ! LOVE Mercedes F1

  20. Charlotte says:

Definitely Bahrain Grand Prix 2014, I was holding my breath all the way through the race watching the fight between Nico and Lewis! So good to watch!!

  21. John O'Loughnane says:

It’s the beauty of pure dominance that is Mercedes-Benz. Driver competition will always be here, this season is a statement of drive and determination that is built on amazing planning and preperation using all the very best people! Drivers, Mechanics, team principles and hundreds of people behind the scenes that are truly committed! Mercedes invented the car – time to show everybody why again!

  22. S L Airey says:

It’s got to be Nico Rosberg finishing first in the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix – Nico’s first win and the first win for Mercedes since 1955! Wow. A massive turning point for the team.
Loving the battle between Lewis and Nico this season – fantastic!

  23. Emanuelle says:

My favorite Mercedes F1 moment was finding out Lewis was becoming part of the team! Although Maclaren were brilliant, Mercedes could really give Lewis what he needs! A REAL DRIVE! Lewis seems so happy and F1 is so much more interesting seeing some proper competition! Nico and Lewis have good competitiveness and it really keeps fans on the edges of there seats!

  24. Will Marshall says:

Got to be Rosberg winning the Chinese GP for Mercedes first win. That was really special and a sign of real progress for the team at the time.

  25. Michelle R says:

The Bahrain Grand Prix 2014 was my favourite moment watching Mercedes show their dominance over the other teams and the fight between Nico and Lewis. Very tense but exciting to watch and full credit to Mercedes for letting them have the chance to do it, it was a fair fight between two professional and experienced drivers!

  26. Adam says:

My favourite Mercedes moment was the Malaysian gp 2014, because it was the perfect race weekend, with Hamilton leading every lap from pole position and also setting the fastest lap. To cap it off nico came 2nd so it was Mercedes first 1-2 finish since 1955 as a works team! Amazing domination!

  27. Michael says:

My favourite Mercedes moment was the time I heard that Michael Schumacher was coming out of retirement to race for them. That moment made my next three years very excitable. WOW!!!!

  28. Mark says:

As a Mercedes-Benz fan the best Mercedes F1 moment has to be the dominance of the team in 2014 and possibly more enjoyable the demise of Red Bull in 2014. I hope the silver arrows are going to be seen leading from the front forever…
