This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Google+. You are providing your information to Mercedes-Benz Retail Group, its supporting agency RSM and not to Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

  1. Mercedes-Benz Retail Group/RSM is not liable for any damage caused to items or vehicles by participating in this competition.
  2. Any distasteful entries will be immediately disqualified.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. The closing date for this competition is 20:00 (GMT) on 21 April 2014. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  5. The winner will be drawn at random from the database of entrants.
  6. The winner will be notified within one (1) working day by Facebook, Twitter or Google+. If the winner does not respond within two (2) working days, a new winner will be chosen.
  7. The prize consists of having one (1) Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet for the weekend from 03 May 2014 to 05 May 2014.
  8. A Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet model is subject to availability. In the event of a Cabriolet not being available, an alternative model will be selected.
  9. The winner will collect the Mercedes-Benz from the chosen Mercedes-Benz Retail Group dealership.
  10. Mercedes-Benz Retail Group/RSM is not liable for any entries that do not reach the recipient, beyond their reasonable control.
  11. The winner of the prize must be over the age of 18 and hold a full driving license.
  12. The prize cannot be transferred and no cash alternative is available.
  13. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
  14. Winners consent to their name being disclosed to other entrants on request, and their name and image to be used subsequently for marketing purposes.
  15. The decisions of the Promoter will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. Entries not completed in ‎accordance with these terms and conditions will not be accepted.

    I’d be playing ‘summertime’ by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith (old but a classic) and drive in the sunshine to Sandbanks, a beautiful location for beaches and also a fantastic place to take my camera to get some great shots of my road trip to the south coast with my lovely borrowed convertible!

    I’m spending that weekend in Manchester with my wife and another couple. I couldn’t think of any better company. We’d head out onto the moors, find some good twisty bits and open the taps. The soundtrack would be some indie and classic rock. What else?

  18. Being May 1st I’d pay tribute to Senna on the 20th anninversary of his passing by taking an SLK to the venue of one of his and Mercedes great victories, Donington Park, and see some of the great F1 cars at the GP collection.

    Tean. Isles of Scilly. Powder white sand, seals, birds, foraging samphire, sea spinach and shrimping, collecting wood for campfire, reminiscing the solar eclipse, climbing to the top, taking in the view of the other islands and thinking how lucky to have a whole island to myself, and then a slow sail home under the atmospheric sky.

    I’d go to Newquay to celebrate summer on it’s way, after all they call it the English Riviera! I’d definitely be listening to Ellie Goulding or Beyoncé – anything upbeat to match the holiday feeling!
