With less than one week to go until the Geneva Motor Show, it won’t be long until new Mercedes-Benz models are making headlines world-wide once more. Until then however, all eyes remain firmly on the Mercedes-AMG GT.

Stopping off at Top Gear earlier this month, the sports car impressed presenter James May with its dynamic driving and “intelligent engineering”. Praised for its exceptional power and efficiency, the newly developed Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine reaches 0-62mph in an amazing 3.8 seconds.

Not just a pretty face as May soon discovered, but certainly one for the catwalk it seems. The Mercedes-Benz A/W 2015 global fashion campaign is currently underway and features the Mercedes-AMG GT being put through its paces by Nico Rosberg, who stars alongside 2014 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton and supermodel Dree Hemingway.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Mercedes-AMG GT has also been reincarnated in boat-form by the Cigarette Racing Team. Presented at the Miami International Boat Show just two weeks ago, the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept not only resembles the Mercedes-AMG GT in looks, it has the most powerful production twin-engine within the Cigarette portfolio.
