MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS are within touching distance of second position in the Formula One Constructor’s Championship following another double points finish from both silver arrows at the Korean Grand Prix.
After slipping back from second place, Lewis Hamilton finished the race in fifth position with teammate Nico Rosberg in seventh. MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS now have 283 points in the Constructor’s battle, just one point behind rivals Ferrari.
Nico Rosberg remained upbeat despite having difficulties with his front wing breaking during the race. He said: “Our car is very competitive and I had good pace compared to the cars on the podium. I’m looking forward to the next races.”
The next round of the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship is the Japanese Grand Prix at the Suzuka circuit on 11-13 October.
