The 2013 Shanghai Auto Show will host a complete range of Mercedes-Benz cars
Mercedes-Benz is bringing a full line-up of new models and concepts to this month’s (April 2013) Auto Show in Shanghai, China.
From the manufacturer, their AMG division and the smart brand, a total of 42 vehicles are scheduled to make appearances. The Mercedes-Benz models on show will display the new design ethos that will translate into their future cars. Drawing inspiration from history and their legacy, the latest styles are still fresh and eye-catching.
One key example of this approach is the Concept GLA, a prototype compact SUV that’s already been confirmed for Shanghai. It showcases a bolder, robust look with the elegant cabin you’d expect.
A new E-Class saloon is being revealed exclusively for China – joining the version of the model that’s reaching UK roads this year. This is also the case with the 2013 A-Class. The lengthened and sportier cars that fans will see in Shanghai have been given increased equipment as well as fresh styles. In the A-Class particularly, the race-inspired cabin includes a new silver dashboard, three-spoke steering wheel and sports seats.
Once the Shanghai Auto event gets underway, we’ll bring you more on all of the models taking the stand. Keep checking back for the latest details.
